Dr. Phil Santucci
Dr. Phil Santucci decided he wanted to be a dentist in the 4th grade. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1983. He practiced general dentistry in Scottsdale until 1997. Dr. Phil continued his education at the Saint Louis University, Center for Advanced Dental Education. He was class President and Valedictorian of his graduating class, won the coveted Marshall Award and received his specialty and Masters Degree in orthodontics in 1999 and is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and belongs to the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Phil has served in may leadership positions in organized dentistry including trustee to the Arizona State Dental Association. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. He attends numberous continuing education courses. In acknowledgement of his contributions to his profession, he has been awarded fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International. Dr. Phil is currently teaching at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) twice a month. He enjoys staying current and learning the latest technology in orthodontics.
Dr. Phil has an intense passion for his work. He loves smiles – giving, receiving and shaping. You’ll find comfort in his easy-going nature and sense of humor. He’ll treat you like a member of his family and your children as if they were his own.
When he’s not shaping smiles here or at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the cleft lip and palate clinic, you’ll find Dr. Phil bicycling, spinning, hiking, coaching basketball at the Scottsdale Boys and Girls Club, or enjoying water sports with his wife Angie and their four boys: Phillip, Patrick, Luke, and Jake.
